Welcome to the Jun Li Group!

Learning, understanding, prediction, and controlling of various reactions lie at the heart of chemistry and related fields. Chemical reaction is generally complicated, and often consisted of a series of elementary reactions. To understand the fundamental nature of these elementary reactions, experimentalists need to isolate them in the lab, and then accurately characterize and understand them by crossed molecular beam, spectroscopic detectors, shock tube, etc. The development of advanced theories, such as quantum chemistry, reaction dynamics and statistical thermodynamics, has enabled people to understand the reaction dynamics and fine details of the elementary processes involved.
